How To Watch USA vs. Sweden in the Round of 16

This article explains how to watch the USA vs. Sweden this coming Sunday, even if you don’t have cable.

While FIFA ranks Sweden as 3rd in the world, making them the toughest team the USA has played this World Cup. While the USA squad is ranked #1 and still undefeated this tournament, they have struggled against lesser teams, drawing against Portugal and Netherlands, and their only victory against a lowly-ranked Vietnam. Meanwhile, Sweden sailed through their group and was able to rest many of their starting players against Argentina on Wednesday.

The USWNT are looking to win their 3rd straight World Cup. There have been eight Women’s World Cups since the tournament began, with the US Women winning 4 of them and never finishing worse than 3rd in the competition. While USA outranks Sweden on paper, this year’s USWNT has struggled to get the win against teams they should have beaten. Sweden, on the other hand, has shined. Going into this game, Sweden has the momentum. USA will need to show they are a better team then they have been in group play to defeat a hot Swedish squad.
